“Silk crepe” is not a specification. Weight, width, hand, recovery, how it takes a press and how it behaves on the bias are.

Where a material is a risk — long lead time, single supplier, unstable in production — we propose a second option before you commit.
Tested in construction
Candidate cloth is sewn and pressed before approval, not judged from a swatch. Some fabrics only reveal themselves at the seam.
With lead time confirmed
Supplier lead times are confirmed and built into the plan. Material is the most common reason a delivery date moves.
