Dress Manufacturer · Vietnam

Dresses are decided at the pattern and lost at the hem.

AUCO MODE manufactures designer dresses and premium womenswear in Vietnam — soft, structured, bias-cut and embellished. A dress has fewer places to hide a mistake than almost any other garment.

01What Makes A Dress Difficult
Balance

Panel balance

A dress reads as designer or as approximate depending on whether the panels hang true. Correcting balance in sewing instead of in the pattern is how a dress ends up twisting on the body.

Bias

Bias behaviour

Bias-cut panels grow and move. They need hanging time, correct seam handling and a hem strategy planned at development, not discovered at sampling.

Weight

Hem behaviour

Hem weight, horsehair, facing depth and the finish itself decide how the skirt ends. This is the detail most often quoted vaguely and delivered badly.

Support

Internal structure

Boned or stayed bodices have to hold shape without printing through the outer cloth. Channel placement and tape tension matter more than the amount of boning.

Closure

Closure engineering

Zips, hooks and bars carry real load in a fitted dress. Reinforcement and placement are construction decisions, not trim decisions.

Grading

Fit across sizes

A dress that fits the sample size is not a graded dress. The size set has to be verified in cloth before bulk.

Send us one dress, not the whole collection.

One developed properly tells you more about a manufacturer than ten quoted quickly.
